It's time for me to (finally) continue my education. I've been wanting to for a long time, but there have been so many circumstances preventing me from doing so. I know, excuses excuses! But I feel like we're in a good place with the kids getting bigger and we have the extra help while we're staying at my mom's house. So I am starting on the path to getting my nursing degree. First the CNA, which is a four week course that will able me to start working pretty quickly, then I will decide which path to take from there. Not sure if I want my full RN, or a medical assisting certification, or some other tech degree. We'll see...
I start my CNA program on Monday, it will be four weeks of intensity then I will be ready to take the test! And somewhere in between we hope to do a little Spring Break getaway to Disneyland.
I'm really looking forward to this 'me' time, it's been 'them' for so many years. A little nervous to dust off my brain--hopefully it still works properly!
