Up Hill Both Ways

Part of a conversation this morning:

Me: You will be way too hot in snow boots
Ally: But it might rain!
Me: Well, these type of boots aren't water proof, you're feet will be soaked
Ally: At least they'll be warm!
Me: Not if you have wet feet. Wear your tennis shoes...
Ally: What if it's pouring rain? I HAVE TO WALK HOME ONE WHOLE BLOCK!!!! It's not fair.
Me: *inner eye roll* I really think you'll survive...
