Ally hasn't played since Kindergarten in Utah, where she liked to stand on the field and look pretty in her big bows. She's come a long way since then! She was so nervous to be on the fifth grade team where most of the girls have been playing for years. She worked hard in practice and it really showed in her performance on the field. I love that she smiled every time she kicked the ball!

The games were tricky. There are two major complexes where the league plays--and they are about a 15 minute drive between the two. We had a few conflicts where games overlapped or were at the same time so we had to divide and conquer. But we made sure each player had a cheering section!
Yesterday was their last game, and it was a HOT day, HUMID too. The kids were troopers and put their whole heart and souls into their last games. Brayden had an awesome header and almost scored a goal. This kid has made so much progress the last year, I was one proud mama cheering him on! Look at that determination:
Soon Reese will break out of her little shell and will want to go and do everything, but for now she sticks close to mom and I wouldn't have it any other way!
