Twinners

While we were in Utah, we got to see Don's twin sister who drove with her family from Arizona to stay for two weeks. Did you know he had a twin?? Reese didn't. Debbie is amazing. She has six kids and has them in all sorts of academic activities and is very involved in their education. She is a great example to me of a patient, loving, kind mom and person. We love you Debbie!

Aren't they cute? And no, they are not identical--there are some key differences! And no they cannot read each others minds or feel each others pain. She had six kids---I think Don would have stopped her after one! HAHA.
Here's the kicker. Don's mom had TWO SETS OF TWINS right in a row! Don and Debbie are actually the second set. Lindi and Lori are a mere 23 months older!! 23 MONTHS!!!! Let's do some figuring here: Don's amazing mom had ten children total. Don and Debbie are numbers seven and eight in line and when they were born, the oldest child was SEVEN! There were four babies under the age of two and eight kids under the age of seven. Can you say HOLY COW? It get's better! During this time, Don's dad was bishop of his ward and getting his Phd---so Don's mom had to bear the burden practically alone. WOW. Don's mom is one amazing woman.

Here's both sets of twins: Don, Debbie, Lindi, Lori
Lindi and Lori are identical, I don't know if they can hear each others thoughts but I'm pretty sure they feel each others pain---emotionally not physically. They are the best of friends and are moms to five kids total between them. They are the best SIL's and aunts to the kids. We love them lots!

My mid has officially been blown. What a amazing woman...all those babies at the same. I wonder how clean the house was ;)
I will never again complain about my two little boys...ok, I take that back, but I will think twice about it.

Not sure of her secret Val, but I think she earned a one way ticket to the old Celestial Kingdom!

Wow, your mother in law is amazing!!! I can't imagine raising 10 kids, let alone that close together.
