Owen's language has exploded these last few weeks. He has developed quite the little personality and has certainly taken after his closest-in-age-sibling in the drama department. The kid is hilarious. I love hearing him talk. He has always had a deeper voice than most babies, and that combined with the rolling of his r's makes for some pretty funny words.
For example, his most favorite things in the world are cars. He loves the big ones on the road and the small ones he has to hold in each hand. Last night we were driving home from Oklahoma Joe's (fantastic bbq!) and Owen was kind enough to point out all the cars and trucks on the road as we passed them. It sounded like this (picture him rolling his R's):
CAR! CAR! CAR! CAR! TRUCK! CAR! CAR! TRUCK! CAR! CAR! CAR! CAR! CAR! TRUCK!
It seriously sounded like the kid was speaking a foreign language!!
Owen is such a great addition to our family. I love having older kids to share his funny toddler moments with, we all get a daily chuckle from Owen's latest antics. One thing for sure, he isn't short on love at our house!
