This year KC is celebrating 70 years of the Wizard of Oz!! On Saturday, we went to the Crowne Center for one of their free exhibits with the J-Family 5 for a little taste of Oz! It was pretty cool with all sorts of interactive stuff like controlling the wizard, and turning on the tornado. They had a big display of old memorabilia too, which apparently I didn't get any pictures of.
We saw Dorothy and Glinda:

Later we all came to our apartment, got two sitters, and the adults went our for some Spin Neopolitan Pizza and window shopping. I think a tornado hit our apartment while we were gone! We declared it a disaster area, and are still recovering from the losses. haha.
Other than that, it was a really fun day!

I'm so sorry!! I knew that I should of cleaned up before we left but Don said not to worry about it! I hope you recover soon...I owe you big time
Looks like lots of fun! I wish we had more places like that out here. I think a tour of the old Roller Mills would be pretty boring for the kids!
we are definitely going!
What cute little munchkins. Looks like you had a super fun day, especially the part of getting a sitter and going out with friends.
BJ and I want to take the kids to see that exibit. I think in a few weeks they are going to have "live characters". We thought we'd go see it on that Sat. and then have a bite to eat at the "train resaurant"--can't think of it's name at the moment but you know.
How fun! I would love to go see that. I tired to get Clark to watch the WoOz...but after the munchkins were done with their part he would have nothing to do with it.
