(the one with the paranthesis)

Please excuse the lack of posting. (I really haven't felt like it!) I do have some fun stuff to report on though---like how today was 70 degrees and we made an impromptu visit to the zoo (got in for free!) And how Brayden competed in the Pinewood Derby last week (which i was in charge of) and I even helped a little with his car (broke the wheel.) Don't worry, we fixed it up (super glue) and sent it down the track (illegally) but he was still happy to be there and had a great time (last place.)

I've even gone back to the gym the last few weeks (ouch) because I've been s-l-a-c-k-i-n-g, and I can't wait to start running regularly again (ouch) when it gets lighter in the mornings (daylight savings). Tonight I went and saw Slumdog with some friends (rated R), and I might be justifying it when I say there was no language or nudity (you're judging me, aren't you?) Just a story with a happy ending (sorry, I should have warned you) and a (cheesey) dance number at the end.

Right now I am watching Glenn Beck (we are so screwed) with my hubby. We are spending quality time together, he on the internet (cell phone) and me on the internet (laptop). Did I just hear our President say he's "proud to have passed the stimulus package with no earmarks"(what?!) 200k for tattoo removal? That's a big (load of crap) tattoo. The road to (hell) socialism (blah) is going to be rocky. But I don't like to get into politics here. It's a family blog, and I don't want to use bad words.

On another note, here is a picture of me and Don on our wedding day. I came across it just now as I was searching for a picture to go along with this post (Why not?) Look at us! So happy, so full of hope. Before kids. Before Obama (BO?) I only hope my kids will be this happy with the world they live in on their wedding day. It sure is changin'.

**Update: he caved and got me flowers and a gift card for Valentines Day. Papa knows he needs to keep mama happy, cause when mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

It is been warmer here in Utah, yesturday it was about 60 degrees. This morning we woke to a bit of snow. Guess that is how March is out here?
Kyle & I like to sit and watch movies, sometimes he watches dumb cowboy movies and I lay on the couch with him just so he can scratch my back. I gotta get something out of a bad situation right? LOL
Also I have to agree that I am increasingly worried about what the world will be like for our kids when they are my age. I cant even listen to Obama talk..the way he talks and is always stopping in-between words drives me CRAZY!!!
Anyway laters chick!
