The first thing I would like to address is
the movie. Luckily I entered the theater with little to no expectation because I didn't want to be disappointed, and it's a good thing I did. Let me just say that the books are made for a young adult audience, and it's obviously what the director intended for the movie. It wasn't horrible, and I wouldn't call it bad, but I would call it....juvenile. The quality of acting had us feeling like we had watched a Lifetime Movie Network premier. Edward was hot, smoldering on the screen, and Bella was perfect. I won't go into too much more detail for those who haven't seen it yet. I did have a blast and I am so glad I went on opening night in a full theater with 8 other friends. Also, I have a feeling we have some inside jokes to last us a few months! (sparkle, sparkle)
Secondly, and more importantly (in Don's opinion) is
the game. The one and only BYU vs. UofU showdown this afternoon. The loud yelling and screaming you hear will be coming from the midwest as we cheer on our beloved Cougars!!
GO BYU!!

This week I caught myself wishing you were still my neighbor and we could go do fun stuff together. Im feeling lonely! Like movies and the Holy Cow Boutique was this week too. I didnt go,didnt want to go alone...You should come visit again! Have a great Thanksgiving!
yes. perfect description of the movie. edward was awesome, bella was just as i had pictured her, but the direction and screenplay was a little heavy on the cheese. never thought i'd see rosalie sniffing a tree, but i guess some stories are better told in printed form! ;-)
Yep, the lower your expectations are, the better the movie is. I do have to say the giggling and squealing of the little girls next to me was quite contagious, I was really into it by the end of the movie. Hoping the next movie has a little less cheddar.
My favorite part of the whole movie was the 3 minute Harry Potter 6 preview at the beginning ;)
I'm with you, watching a movie after reading the book is always a little disappointing. We had a great time at this movie because of the teen girls in the the theatre. They clapped and squeeled in all the right spots.
