We woke up this morning to our first taste of a
mid-west spring!!
Strong winds scared the kids out of their sleep and into my bed.
By the time we were ready for school,
it was calm and 65 degrees and HUMID.
The kids have another short week of school due to parent/teacher conferences. There are so many days off!! You'd think being in one of the top districts in the nation would require them actually attending school!

Oh, Jenny! I made those sugar cookies that you sent me the recipe for and they are SOO good! Let me tell you, I am not a cookie person, I cannot ever get them to turn out, brownies, I can handle, but cookies, I really have issues. Your recipe rocked!
