Our Easter

We had a good Easter. We got up early to see if the Easter Bunny came, and sure enough, he did, and brought some good treats. He did forget to hide the eggs we so lovingly dyed the night before though. Ahem.....Don? Any comments? So we got ready for church and actually made it there early, which is a feat considering it's a good fifteen minutes away. Aftwerwards we had dinner with some other families in the ward and the kids got to do their hunt. I was in charge of dessert so I decided to let Costco do the cookin! We partook of the chocolate layer cake which is to die for. I'll be strapping on the running shoes first thing in the morning, that's for sure!

Later we hung out at home and totally relaxed. It was a great ending to a fun spring break. Now the kids are getting ready for bed, and tomorrow we start our regular routine again. Yay for me. I was getting so tired of hearing "I'm bored" and "I'm hungry."

In other news, all those crazy midwest storms completely passed us by. We got a few clouds and some wind, but that's it. Temps stayed in the fifties so we really lucked out. It's thunderstorm season, which means tornado season around here, I've heard the thunder literally shakes your house.

look at you picasa queen! I love the Easter pictures. The storms didn't hit us too hard, it was snowing on the way home from nauvoo and then we had snow here last night, but nothing horrible...it's just cold and really old! You guys have to go to nauvoo! It's the best (is st. louis your temple?)
