Here is a recipe tried and true with
the three pickiest eaters on the planet.
Perfect for lunches or the Sunday church bag!

HOMEMADE GRANOLA

10 C. Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

1 C. Raisins
1 C. Chocolate Chips
2 C. Mini Marshmallows

1/2 C. Chopped Walnuts
1/2 C. Chopped Almonds
1/2 C. Chopped Pecans
2/3 C. Honey
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Cinnamon

1 C. water
2 C. sugar
1/4 C. butter

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In a large bowl combine all the top ingredients except honey. Toss and mix well. Drizzle the honey over the mixture and mix until well incorporated.

In a small saucepan over med-high heat, bring sugar and water to a boil and boil for 1 min. Turn off heat and whisk in the butter until smooth. Let set for 2 minutes to cool slightly. Slowly poor water mixture over bowl of oats and toss until mixed.

Transfer to 2 lightly greased 9x13 baking pans. Bake for 25 minutes at 250 degrees. Take out pans and toss with a fork. Turn off oven and put pans back in to sit for 1-2 hours. It should be dry and chunky when finished. If not, take out granola and reheat oven to 250 degrees. Turn off oven and put pans back in to sit for another 1-2 hours.

*You can change or add any ingredient you like to the rolled oats.
*Store in airtight container.
*We served ours warm with milk.
