Allyson tried out for "The Nutcracker" again this year. I was so excited because she's tall enough to audition for the "Mademoiselle" part, a really cute dance where the girls come on stage underneath the dress of a lady on stilts. SO cute. Ally was nervous about an element of that dance where the girls do cartwheels over umbrellas. During auditions she decided she didn't want to attempt this feat, so she was cast as a "Cookie" again. It's all good, and I am so dang proud of her, Seeing her onstage is so awesome! Here is last year's "Cookie" taken with my camera phone.
