Independence Day

July 4th was a day for celebration!!

We started out with a healthy breakfast of donuts and chocolate milk with Grandma Chris,
then changed into swimsuits and spent the next five hours at Seven Peaks water park:With cousins!!
Bathing beauties Claire and Reese:

I still can't over these mountains, how I miss them!
Here's the view from my towel:
And here's another thing I miss, rare non-fighting moments between sisters:Moments after this shot, Ally wanted to go around the lazy river again
by herself this time
,
and Reese threw a huge fit. Awesome.

We got home and got our Old Navy flag shirts on and
went to Grandma T's where there were more cousins!

We had a little party for little Owen.
He loved all the attention, but wasn't so sure about those candles:

Or the presents:

There's a little smile:Maybe?

At dusk, we celebrated our independence by watching the city fireworks at the park by Grandma T's. When they were over we had our own little "sidewalk of fire" display with cousins Andy and CJ our family pyro-technicians.
It rocked.

No pictures, sorry.

Today we took our dad to the airport, he's got to get back to real life in Kansas.
We miss him like crazy already
and are counting down the days until he comes back.

Until then, we'll be chillin here in good 'ole Utah!

Here's what the boys did to unwind tonight:

Holy busy and fun!

That picture of Y mountain...if you go straight down from the Y that is my parents house. My parents always told us that if we ever got lost in Provo to look to the Y and we'd get home :)
