Cake Boss

Our Blue and Gold Banquet this year celebrated 100 years in scouting. As a fun competition, each cub scout had to bake a cake--by himself--and have it judged.

The theme was anything to do with scouting, so there were lots of creative entries. The most popular theme was camping....that's the theme we chose!

Brayden decided what he loved most about camping was making smores---so that's what we went with. Who knew graham crackers and marshmallows could look so good!

His giant smore cake is right in the middle:
All the cub scouts lined up for the judging:
And the winner for best cake for the Bears goes to:
Brayden!!!

Here he is with Judge Dan describing the cake and the process he used to make it:
Vanilla cake mix, can of frosting, graham crackers, giant chocolate bar, marshmallows.
{'Cuz that's how we roll when we leave our projects till the last minute!}

Congrats buddy!!
