Phew! We made it! December was incredibly busy for our family. There were a few weeks of exceptional craziness, but then things slowed down, thankfully, in time for Christmas. We enjoyed every second of it, sometimes I felt like I couldn't do one more thing, but I am so glad to have these memories.
In no particular order, we did everything from:
Snow Princess Parties--for Reese
Scentsy Parties--for me
Jewelry making classes--taught by me
Progressive Dinners--for the Relief Society
Book Group Christmas Dinner/Book Exchange--one of my favorite nights
Winter Concerts and Performances--at the Crowne Center
Service project night--making flannel blankets for the NICU at KU Med. at Caprice's
Class Winter Parties--whatever happened to "Christmas" parties??
Ward Christmas Breakfast--Owen's encounter with Santa
Cub Scout Pack Meeting--Brayden earned his Wolf
Birthday Dinners --for friends at Cheesecake Factory
Ornament Exchange at Patty's--a wild and crazy night!
Neighborhood Christmas Party--ok we missed this one :)
Treat Making Extravaganza--a fun afternoon spent making treats with friends! We each brought stuff to make 2-3 treats and then we each took home 11-12 different things to hand out! Brilliant!
Hayride and Hot Chocolate--fun night with friends
Feeding the Missionaries--they bring such a strong spirit into our home
Grandma comes to town!--she is looking goooood!
Early Christmas Eve dinner with Widgren's and friends--delicious food!
Christmas!!--Santa came!! We got spoiled....
I turned THIRTY!!!!--out to dinner with Mom, saw Sherlock Holmes with friends topped off with a late night Hot Fudge Sundae at McD's--doesn't get better than this!
New Years Eve party hosted by VanOrman's---lots of food, lots of friends, lots of fun!
What a month! I love it--I just wish I had pictures to go along with everything. As exhausting as it was, I wouldn't trade the memories for anything. Merry Christmas, 2009.

When you put it to a list it sounds insane but I know my list would be identical--it's amazing that we can fit it all in isn't it? Happy New Year!
