I love this kid. He is at that super fun stage where he's talking up a storm but can't quite pronounce all the words correctly so we hear things like "ornish" for orange and "christmas flakes" for snowflakes and "guck" for truck. My all time favorite is when he says "uppa downstairs" for upstairs and "down downstairs" for downstairs. Apparently all stairs are "downstairs".

He is now full force into the terrible two's and is exercising his newly found right daily. He has also learned all kinds of tricks from his older siblings and can imitate any of them at any given time. His favorite person to follow around is Reese and she loves the attention, they are thick as thieves together.

Poor kid slipped and fell on the newly mopped kitchen floor and hit his head on the fireplace. It was a star-shaped puncture wound and it was pretty deep too, so I took him to urgent care and they were able to glue it back together. This is him after two weeks of healing. We had to put a band aid on his head so he'd stop picking at the glue, and the band aid gave him a nasty rash!

We have to end our family prayers with a cheer when Owen says them, because the first time he said it we all erupted in applause after 'amen' was said, so now it is expected. His prayers consist of repeating the last word in the sentence and if you ask him to pray on his own it will sound like this: "...Father....day....blessings.....family....safe.......missionaries....prophet....amen....YAY!!!"
I hope he knows that he can count on his family being
there to cheer him on through out his entire life!'
Love you Owie!
