We left Kansas at 5:00 pm on Thursday evening and drove all through the night. At around 5:30am the next morning, I noticed Don was looking a little tired (he denies it) so I insisted on trading him places. I drove the last leg and we got to Grandma's house in Lehi, UT at 9:00am. And we were exhausted!!
We happened to get into town the weekend of the big Lehi Round-Up Celebration! Parades, rodeos, and festivities were all around. I LOVE my hometown parade. Where else in the world are you going to see homemade floats from every ward in the city?

The day after we arrived at Grandma's house.
I might have said "I don't care if the grass is wet, just smile for the camera"
But I'm not sure.
But I'm not sure.

We went to round two of the parade,
the Saturday morning version is always better!
We love our Green cousins! They aren't really green, it's just their name.

Saturday evening Don took the kids and met his siblings and their kids at the Real Salt Lake soccer game. I got to go to Rodworks. I'm not sure who had more fun!
Sunday afternoon was dinner with the Carter side of our family
(I forgot to get out my camera! Grrr...)
