Today was nice.

I got Reese to go to the gym daycare with minimal complaining. Owen was even good in the toddler area and they didn't call me over the loud speaker once! You don't understand how awesome that is. It's a rare occasion these days when I can get both little ones to cooperate in harmony at the gym. These days I've been taking them to babysitting co-op to avoid the debacle.

I even got some stuff done! The family vehicle is clean, the laundry is done (for now) and I'm almost done with my book club book. In between all that, the little ones and I laid a blanket outside on the grass and watched the clouds roll in.

Right now I am enjoying a beautiful spring downpour. It is seriously coming down in buckets, and afterward the smell of the lush landscape is awesome. I seriously love the rain here and I even crave it sometimes.

The neighborhood kids have all gathered here too. We seem to always be the gathering place for the kids--which is how I like it. Except when they are all starving! So if you'll excuse me, I'm going to make homemade waffles, the crowd is getting restless.
