It feels a little voyeuristic getting to know someone so well you've never actually met. I guess it's a little like stalking. Case in point, I have probably read all of cjane's entries over the past year or so, and I know the whole story of her sister's plane crash, and can tell you all the updates on their recovery. I even have friends asking me to give them updates on it all. Is that strange?
So now I'm giving you a chance to be a fly on the wall at my house. But this fly is blind, because I can't upload my pictures. (hence the title of the post! catchy, right?) I would love to have added pictures and seriously though, how fun of a post would that be?? Real non-staged photos of our daily living--I think that would scare away any readers I still may have left.
Here are some common things said around our house on a daily basis:By Me:
"Ally does not have to play with you every second of every day, Reese"
"Oh my gosh you guys, who made this mess?"
"Unload the dishwasher please"
"Not until your jobs are done"
"Why aren't you doing your jobs?"
"Hurry up, we're going to be late for school (again)"
"Why aren't you hurrying?"
"Where's Owen?? Someone check the bathrooms"
"Go back in and wash your hands"
"Is homework done?"
"When we go into the store, don't ask for anything"
"Not this time. Maybe if you save up your allowance"
"Remind me and dad to start giving you allowance"
"Ok, now everyone on their best behavior"
"We're going to have a talk when we get home"
"Where's Owen again?"
"No, I haven't seen your belt, wallet, keys, shoes, honey"
With a side of cheese:
"I love you" --always said, everyday, all day
"I'm so proud of you"
"Great job guys"
By the kids:
"Ally won't play with me"
"Can I play Guitar Hero?"
"Did you go to the store yet mom?"
"Which friend can I call today?"
"I'm bored, there's nothing to do"
"I'm hungry, there's nothing to eat"
"I forgot"
"Mom, can I have a turn on the computer?"
"Why do I have to do all the work around here?"
"It wasn't me"
"I love you"
From Reese: "You're the best mom I ever had"
There may be a few choice phrases I might have left out, mostly stuff said by me. But it's my blog, and I can put what I want on it! One phrase I left out that's been said--oh alright, THOUGHT by me over the weekend since seeing "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" is "I love Brad Pitt." Has anyone else seen that?!

You always hit the nail right on the head...great post.
I have been dying to watch Ben Button...but alas no babysitter.
i could've been reading a daily transcript of what goes on in my house...except you sound a lot more patient! i'm going to try to see that movie this week!!
by the way...you can come over ANYTIME and upload photos!!! i know how frustrating technical difficulties can be!
Love the post!!
I say most of those things too (except for the "where's Owen?!") Mine is "tell your sister you're sorry". ::rolling eyes::
I should do this on my blog!!
living my life as a fly on the wall is my 2nd biggest dream in life after the Gatorade one.
I think our kids must trade phrases because they say all of those. The most famous one is "I FORGOT". I have seen the Brad Pitt movie and the scene where he is young lookin and smokin' riding his motorcycle. It was like can we please rewind and still frame for a second??? Right here in the movie theatre, Im sure no one else will mind............. I like to people watch too. When we were at the movies the other night I like to occupy my mind by trying to guess which couples might be on a first date and which ones are married....I like to think I can tell. I wonder what people would think about me and my hubby? dating or old married couple?
OOPS I really was supposed to say smokin hot ridin' his motorcycle. Now it just sounds like I think he is hot when he smokes LOL
A fly on the wall...I'm afraid we'd all know more than we ever wanted to about one another. Hopefulley, less judgmental and more apt to love the people with a little greater understanding of their story.
Why can't you download photos?
It sounds a lot like my house! That was great to be a fly on your wall so that I know that I'm normal. I haven't seen the movie yet. It really is good?
