Happy Thanksgiving!!

Yesterday we picked our Grandma Chris up at the airport and went out to lunch at the coolest outdoor mall--The Legends. We ate at the T-Rex Cafe, which was soooo cool with all the animatronic dinosaurs, and then did some shopping at the outlets.

This year we had a very non-traditional Thanksgiving, and boy was it nice! We took the year off from cooking and went out to dinner at Mimi's Cafe where they were serving a full traditional turkey dinner and pie. Ally declared it "the funnest Thanksgiving ever"

Brayden tried hard to get the turkey down:

Reese drank her special milk:

Owen went from grandma's lap:

To dad's lap:After dinner we headed next door to the movie theater and saw the new Disney flick "Bolt." Then on to home where we watched yet another holiday movie (mom and dad were tired!) "Home Alone" which the kids have never seen. I didn't remember how suspect the language is in that one!
And then new tradition was started! We usually do pajamas as a Christmas Eve present, but this year we decided to do them on Thanksgiving night as a kick-off to Christmas. Here are the kids sporting their new fleece PJ's and a new Webkinz from Grandma! A Happy Thanksgiving Indeed.

i'm grateful for awesome friends too! we totally made a point to watch home alone tonight too! and we were equally surprised at some of the language and bad behavior modeled by the kids! funny how your perception changes when you know your kids are watching, huh? still, it was a ton of fun watching it, and the kids did love it. sounds like you guys are having a blast. mimi's sounds like the most brilliant idea ever, especially after i slaved away all day, only to get full after 5 minutes of pigging out. it was good though, but i am exhausted!

I love your Mom's hair! So cute. Also, love the new header pic of the kids.

That sounds like so much fun. I am thinking Thanksgiving out sounds better than doing hours of cooking and dishes...next year it is turkey hoagies at the beach.
The new picture of the kids is so so darling, I love little Owen's face.
Oh, and your Mom look great!

Aww! Look at the new pics of the kids! LOVE it! I also like the idea of not cooking on Thanksgiving! Cool beans girl! Owen is so funny.... a WET diaper on his head? He's catching on fast!

wow no cooking, I bet that was awesome! I think I might use your tradition. Even it it's a little late!
