Sunday

Today was the kids primary program at church. They all did wonderfully, and said their lines perfectly. Even our little Reese (with a little help) said her part. It was so cute, when she got up to the pulpit, either the stool was too short or she didn't stand on the top step, so all the congregation saw was a big red bow!! Brayden sang in a sextet "I Love To See The Temple" with the words changed to "I Can't Wait To See Our Temple" in honor of the recent Kansas City temple announcement. The music was amazing, led by our amazing opera singer of a chorister and accompanied by the amazing Corie. Of course I cried during the entire hour. The spirit is so amazingly strong when the little ones put on their yearly program. They truly are Children of God!

After church we ate lunch and Don and I were totally beat. So we put the baby down for his nap, and pleaded with the kids to play quietly for a bit. I laid down on the couch and the next thing I know, Ally is waking me up telling me to come and see the bunkbed. What? So I go in the girls' room and the entire top bunk has collapsed onto the bottom. Every joint had given out and it totally fell and is completely unusable now. Luckily no one was underneath!!! That's what I get for purchasing such a 'great deal' I found online!

Our program was today too. I wish I could say the same about ours. I was with my primary class and had Marin fighting with me the whole time, it was a mess, but the program went well, I just didn't get to feel the spirit like I wish I could have.

Too bad about the bunk bed!!

I have such a weakness for Primary Programs as well... sob sob! That is so cute everyone just saw Reece's (is it S or a C?) bow instead of her head. LOL

SOOOO glad no one was under that bed when it fell! One of my nightmares when we had our bunkbed!!

I have been the primary teacher for the 4/5 yr olds for 2 years. This year we had an extra large class of more than 10 REALLY wiggly kids. They put us in the first row on the stand! I told the Primary Pres she may want to re-think that move. But we decided to put the kids in thier chairs. Boy Girl Boy Girl and put the naughtiest lil' boy inbetween myself and the other teacher. That seemed to work pretty good. The kids all sang and were darn nice!
