BRAYDEN

Tomorrow my little boy turns eight! I will officially have two children at the age of accountability. Let me just take a deep breath here.....wow. Where has the time gone? Everyone told me it would go by fast, they weren't kidding. I remember the day I found out I was pregnant with Brayden. Ally was a mere five months old! I was shocked and scared, but I knew very clearly that a little boy needed to come to the Earth and that he would be special. He was born Sunday, September 24, 2000 at around 5:00 pm. His labor and birth were a forshadow of his personality: extremely laid back and especially easy. The doctor didn't have his gloves on yet when he slid right out on his own. It was an instant love and he was an instant mama's boy. We had so much fun with our two little babies 13 months and 3 weeks apart! We made quite the scene wherever we went, everyone thought they were twins and commented on our 'busyness.' Yes, our hands were full, but so were our hearts. Brayden is definitely going places! His mind works overtime trying to figure things out. He loves to take apart and rebuild things. He loves changing batteries and lightbulbs, and if we ever lose something, we ask Brayden first 'cause he usually knows where it is! You can find him pouring over his lego magazine, bug encyclopedia, or science experiment books--when he isn't conquering the wii. Ask him any Star Wars fact, and he will tell you, but be prepared to hear everything you ever wanted to know!
Brayden we are so happy you are in our family! We love you so much and are so proud of the choices you've made in your life. You are special and a beloved Child of God. Thanks for being our "Little Chief"!!

Wow. I remember completely the day we found out the Chief was coming to our family :) We had no idea what a good kid he would turn out to be. I am so proud of my boy...seeing those pictures of him brought back all the memories of how fun he was as a kid, and he still is! That mind absorbs literally everything...gotta watch what I say around him! haha I love you Brayden! Happy Birthday tomorrow pal...you are my special buddy forever. I love you always! Love, Dad

Oh. My Luke surprised me when Halle was five months old and he is a momma's boy who is easy going and born on September 23rd! How funny!
Brayden is an adorable kid! Does he want to be betrothed to my Halle? She is seven! LOL.

Happy Birthday Brayden! When people told me enjoy it, because they grow too fast. I just rolled my eyes and thought you never had 3 under 3 but they were right and I was wrong! It does go by so fast! Hopefully he has a fun filled day tomorrow!

I remember Brayden when you guys moved into Parkridge. It was almost 5 years ago. He was so cute! Remember his curly hair? And when he first got his cast off his leg, how he walked as if it was still on. Then when he loved Pat for who knows why. He has really grown since then, and now 8! Wow, time flies even for us friends. Happy Birthday Brayden!

Oh, and Paige already has claim on him. J/K. But, remember them in the back of the van with that blanket on them? Hahahaha-they were cute.

Lisa-you'll have to have Halle get in line! jk AND I had no idea that Halle/Luke and Ally/Brayden were such similar circumstances! Did we not cover that during our many 'dance mom discussions'??

Amy-that is my REAL hair color!! It got dark after those first two babies!!

Mary-I still miss the Parkridge days. We had no idea how good life was! Those days were the best. I totally remember how Brayden feared/loved Pat at the same time--he was enthralled by him! And Paige and Brayden did have a little fling didn't they???

Wow I can't believe you have two kids over eight. What a neat experience to have your children be baptized. Those pictures are so adorable. I love the one of Aly and Brayden by the river. They definitely look like they are twins, I can see how people could wonder. Cute little boy!
