Getting M.A.D.D.

It's Monday. I have my work cut out for me today. This last weekend was a busy one, that combined with my 'great idea' of cleaning and organizing everyones closets made for a crazy household. We had three birthday parties, a baptism, jewelry parties, girls night out, jazz games, church meetings and visiting teaching. In between running around I pulled apart the closets.

Since birthing my fourth child, I have acquired a sort of A.D.D. tendency. I can't complete one entire task to save my life! I start organizing then realize I need to send an email, or I start the laundry and remember a phone call I need to make, and I forget about my previous task. Maybe it's a new form of A.D.D., like a Multitasking A.D.D. OR Mothers A.D.D (thanks Lisa for the more definitive diagnosis!).

Yes, that's it! We'll call it M.A.D.D
.

So while I sit here blogging and choking down my protein shake, the closets are still pulled apart, the laundry and dishes sit undone, and it's our turn to feed the missionaries tonight. Oh, and it's my week to teach preschool and plan our Den Meeting for Scouts. So what am I doing? Well, my M.A.D.D. is making me type this post. I guess you could say I'm blogging and creating a to-do list.

Multitasking.

Maybe it could be MOTHERS ADD, because I totally have it. I think it came with giving birth. Shawn says he is amazed at what I can get done if he can just get me to focus, which is a fine art form!

Thanks for the diagnosis. I've been wondering what's wrong with me.

I only have 2 and already on my way to craziness. I get a million things in my head that I need to do and go to do something and another thing pops up. I thought it was just me. Glad to know I'm not alone.
