I Can't Take Him Anywhere...

The hubby and I got a sitter tonight so we

could have a little romantic night on the town.
Well, sort of.
(We took Owen with us so our babysitter wouldn't
get too overwhelmed with four kids.)
First we ate at the Elephant Bar, which was pretty good, it had a fun atmosphere.
Very reasonably priced too, which I might add.
(Owen fussed the whole time.)
I got the Southwestern BBQ Chicken Salad--I usually get that wherever we go. Yum.
He got the pulled pork sandwich. Also yum.

We had some time to kill, so we browsed through some of my favorite shops.
I saw about 20 things I'd love to get for my kids rooms at
Pottery Barn. Didn't get a one.

Next we went to Crate and Barrel.We were there for roughly five minutes when the incident occurred.
Picture this:
A large display of pitchers and glasses.
One gets knocked over causing a chain reaction
until the sound of crashing and shattering fills a now quiet store.
A team of employees comes running to find a
humiliated husband and his giggling wife and their baby fast asleep in his car seat.
They were so nice, and explained that it happens all the time
(yeah right).
We didn't have to pay for the wreckage.
The husband checked his dignity at the door, and we left quietly.
On to Target.
