We took advantage of the beautiful spring weather yesterday and went to the most amazing place! We have a Farmstead about a mile from where we live that we've heard tons of hype about. We weren't disappointed!
We met up with some new friends through Don's work, and took our combined seven kids and had a fun day on the farm. We fed the calves, fed the ducks, practiced milking cows, saw the hens, played pretend at an old school house, learned how to mine for gold, raced tractors, climbed, ate and played on the playgrounds.
The farm closed before we got to do everything, so next time we go we'll get to fish, ride ponies and feed the baby goats.
The best part about this place? IT'S FREE.

Oh, that sounds so fun! I love places like that! I really want to find somewhere like that to take my kids to. I hope everything else is going good.
That looks like so much fun. What a fun thing for the kids to do. I love the hands on experiences they can have at places like that and that it's Free. That is the best.
What a fun place to go. I loved the pink John Deer tractor. Your children are so cute. They are lucky to have such great parents.
Thanks for taking us there! We should go back sometime soon to finish the trip!
