I'd like to thank my husband and children for allowing me to waste a full two hours of my life on watching people in beautiful gowns and stunning jewelery celebrating themselves and their accomplishments in films I have either not heard of nor have I seen.I'd also like to thank tivo (again, i love you tivo) for allowing me to fast-forward through the speeches and thank you's and the inevitable political dialogue that ends up overshadowing the purpose of the night itself
