It's moving week!
The fun is over and what a fun month it was!
Actually, I thinking the six weeks will go down in history as the most delicious ever.
Every weekend we've either had a holiday or a birthday or some sort of family/friend gatherings with so much tasty food to sample. Not to mention Sunday Dinners at Grandma's--my mouth is watering just typing about her pot roast.
This last weekend was so great.
I had a going away breakfast with my sister in laws on Friday. Saturday the girls on my side of the family went to lunch at the Olive Garden then shopping. That night the MacArthur family had a going away party for me with yummy pizza and breadtwists from The Pizza Factory-my favorite. The kids had a sleepover with their cousins, and then Sunday we had a birthday dinner for my mom.
Happy Birthday Mom!
{looking forward to a Cafe Rio salad tonight!}
I'd say I sampled more then my share of tasty food, and am so looking forward to moving day to burn off those extra calories. I had so much fun with everyone, it was hard to say goodbye.
Now the work begins....
I've done most of the packing (by myself, thank you) but it's still not done!
I hate all the little odds and ends you have to find places for, you know, junk drawer stuff:
Paper clips, safety pins, kids artwork, receipts from two years ago, coupons, rubber bands, hair clips, all the stuff I think I just might need and have to save.
My Goal
is to have everything packed and sorted by the time Don flies in tomorrow night. We'll load a truck the next day, then he'll drive back to Kansas the day after that. I am flying with the kids. Yay for the company who is paying for us to fly!
How am I feeling?
Happy, Sad, Excited, Scared, Stressed, Grateful, Overwhelmed, Stressed.
Well, it's time to get down to the nitty-gritty,
as Jack Black would say on Nacho Libre.
