Changes

Kansas City:

Starting January 2, this will be Don's new place of employment.
Don applied for a job at a company called AdKnowledge.
They flew him out last week and interviewed him and liked him so they offered him the job on the spot. He is excited because it gives him so many more opportunities than his current job ever will.

As far as I'm concerned,
well my head is spinning. Packing up and moving across the country-in the middle of winter, nonetheless-is really daunting.
It's bittersweet as well. I'm so excited for new opportunities, new sites to see and a change of pace. But so sad to leave all I know and am comfortable with.

Luckily, they're paying for the move.
We just have to get through Christmas, then the packing begins. The kids and I will let Don start working and find us a place to live, then we'll head out mid to late January.

Even more luckily,
is that we have some great friends who live there (He happens to work for Adknowledge and was helpful in us getting the job). Ally will be reunited with her first best friend, they've been friends since birth. It will be great to see them again, and they are being so helpful in getting us settled.

Missouri or Kansas?
Kansas City straddles two states. We're not sure which side we want to live on yet. We've been doing our homework and there are pros and cons to each.

which ever side we choose,
Watch out Kansas City, here we come!!
