Wanted: the brains behind this
This is a disturbing photo of a lego skeleton that's been 'run through' with a sword, for clarification. This little gem was discovered in Brayden's lego bin today. Should I be concerned? Or is this one of those 'boy' things everyone talks about? (Before I got married, I'd never lived with a boy, so the strange behavior of this species, this 'other' gender baffled me. Even after living daily with the opposite sex for over 9 years, I still don't understand why they do the things they do. I'm sure my hubby can and will say the same about me!) Ahem. I am having so much fun being the mother of one Mr. Brayden. This boy has so much imagination and fascination with ...everything. He craves knowledge and absorbs anything he considers interesting. We've gone through encyclopedias on bugs, major storms, dinosaurs, the human body(that was interesting), trucks and construction to name a few.

Here he is on his seventh birthday after we surprised him with this huge lego set....the look on his face says it all. (i think he liked it!)
Brayden is such a tender-hearted little boy. He loves his baby brother, and is actually the best out of all the kids at calming him down. He is eager to please his parents (like tonight when he got his pj's on and brushed his teeth without me even asking!!) and very, very loving. He does have a mischievous side for sure-when he's too quiet I know I need to search the house to see what new 'invention' or 'potion' he's been working on. What a fun kid. I love him so much!

be afraid, be very afraid. no just kidding. I won't even begin to tell you some of the things Jacob has said to me. I've actually had to ask others if this was normal or if I needed to start saving for some serious counseling and bail money.
